Urban Horticulture (Course organized by the University of Craiova, Craiova, Romania)
Course Description This joint course (introductory course, 80 hours, with participation certificates within this project) will be organized in Craiova and delivered to participants in English. The target group will consist of students from both universities: the University of Craiova (UCV) and the D.A. Tsenov Academy of Economics (TAE).
The course is addressed to students, graduates, and the general public interested in learning how biodiversity is affected by pollution and global warming, how the environment can be monitored, and how quality of life can be improved through individual contributions (flower gardens), the development of vertical crops, and green walls in cities.
